The Cava Núria Claverol is predominantly made with the grape variety Xarel.lo. It also has a small share of the grape variety Parellada and Chardonnay. The vineyards of Xarel.lo, with whom this so special Cava is produced, were planted 50 years ago, on a plot called 'Peretes', located on the estate Sumarroca.

Fermentation in stainless steel at 14°C for 17 days. About 45 months ageing.

Tasting Notes:
Colour yellow intense.
In the nose we find mineral notes mixed well with roasted.
On the palate, creamy and fruity, with a long aftertaste.

Alcohol content: 12,60%
Residual sugar: 4.9 g/l
Total acidity: 4.20 g/l
pH: 3.12

This cava is named after the wife of the founder of the Bodega, Carles Sumarroca, and is a tribute of the three children to their mother. The bottle design, inspired by the ancient Greek amphora, received an award from Sumarroca and ADI-FAD in 2004.
