Staete Landt Pinot Noir 2008

€29.95
Tax included Shipping excluded
Red Wine crianza from Marlborough (New Zealand) produced by the winery Staete Landt Vineyards with Pinot Noir grapes.
Grilled red meats, stews, roasts and legume would be the most suitable food pairing.
We think this wine needs to be decanted, and the service temperature ranges between 12ºC and 16ºC preferably in a Burgundy type glass.

The 2008 Pinot Noir is a beautiful round and well textured wine with a fragrance of ripe cherries, wild violets and ‘forrest floor on an early autumn day’. In the mouth the wine is weighty with black tea tannins, shows great length and beautiful balance between sweet ripe berrie fruit and more savoury characters such as ‘leather saddles’ and barnyard characteristics which will develop over time in the bottle.
A very attractive wine, lots of ‘pinosity’ and a fabulous companion with food.
