Pétalos del Bierzo is a Mencía single-varietal wine from old vineyards planted on small, steep, slaty parcells.
It was aged four months in oak barrels.
Biodynamic agriculture. The wines are bottled without fining or filtration.

Tasting Notes:
Dark cherry colour with ruby rim.
On the nose the wine gives aromas of ripe fruit and, aboveall, flowers.
Fine toasted scents on mineral and balsamic background. Mouth-filling entry, fresh, silky and intense, with pleasant tannins and proper acidity. Long finish and floral aftertaste.
