The Malleolus is an extraordinary red wine from Ribera del Duero, produced exclusively with the grape Tempranillo (which is called 'Tinta Fina' in this region), coming from 25 to 75 years old vineyards.
It has an ageing of 18 months in French oak barrels.
The name of the wine comes from the word 'whitethorn' (malleolus in latin), the names given to the vineyards in Pesquera del Duero.
It is an exquisite wine, intense, complex and elegant, suitable for keeping.
