La Montesa is a Rioja red wine, made with Garnacha grapes (almost 90%), the rest Tempranillo, from the vineyard La Montesa, at the foot of the mountain of Monte Yerga, in Alfaro, and at an altitude of 550 meters above sea level.
It has an ageing of 12 months in oak barrels, it has an ageing potential of 20 years, always assuming that this is stored in good condition.
Doubtless one of the best of the Rioja, a wine that shows us its quality year by year, at a very acceptable price.
