The Códice is made with the grape Tempranillo, originally from old vineyards, with low income. Belongs to the geographical designation Vino de la Tierra de Castilla.
Ageing during 6 months in tanks and 6 months in French and American oak barrels with 225 liters capacity.

Tasting Notes:
Ruby red color with slight violet iridescence on the edge of the glass.
In the nose intense aromas of ripe red fruits, notes of coffee, vanilla and toasted due to its stay in American oak barrels.
On the palate, structured, balanced, shows certain characteristics of mature, fresh fruit, in perfect conjunction with the characteristics of the ageing (spices, roasted coffee and exotic wood).
