Deep colour with ruby tones, a sign of its youthfulness. Powerful bouquet, which is also elegant and complex. Red berry aromas, spice, cocoa and candied banana come through against a backdrop of subtle, well-integrated oak. Elegant and fresh on the palate with great complexity coming through. A lovely cocktail of fruits, particularly cherry. Very tight tannic structure. Close-knit but not heavy. Liquorice. Outstanding length coming from the Cabernet Franc in all its elegance and personality. 1994 is still great wine to lay down, wich can start to be enjoyed as of now.
