Many celebrities have decided to start an adventure in the wine world. Some of the celebrities daring to create their own winery have been the singer Joan Manuel Serrat, the driver Carlos Sainz and the actor Gerard Depardieu, just to mention a few.
The last one joining this world has been the F.C. Barcelona soccer player Andrés Iniesta.
The soccer player who has always been known for his humbleness attachment to his hometown Fuentealbilla - located in the region La Manchuela, in Albacete. Andrés has started his own
winery in his beloved hometown to elaborate wines of the
D.O. Manchuela that will sure help his hometown economy.
A few days ago Andrés launched his first two white wines:
Finca el Carril, elaborated with 100% Macabeo and
Corazón Loco elaborated with Verdejo, Sauvignon Blanco and Moscatel.
Finca el Carril shows fruity and citrus notes with white flowers and subtle hints of banana and apricot. It is an easy to drink balanced wine.
Corazón Loco is a clean and bright straw yellow color wine. In the nose it shows aromas of lychees and tropical fruit. It shows perfect acidity and a creaminess that makes it a refreshing wine inviting you to drink it.
In a few weeks, his young red wines will be launched followed by the crianza and reserve wines. In
